The factory-certified KiStor drive is encased in a tough outer shell designed to ensure the drive is inserted correctly into a Ki Pro or Ki Pro Rack for recording and playback. The tough outer casing protects the drive from the rigors of production use, keeping your valuable media safe.
Unlike typical hard drives, which are designed for a small number of repeated connectionis, KiStor modules use a reinforced connection that’s engineered for a high number of insertions and removals to withstand the rigors of daily use in a production environment.
KiStor drives also have a built-in USB 3.0 connection, allowing them to be plugged directly into your system for quick downloads while in the field.
